So I've been writing this song(And by writing, I mean playing chords and singing the chorus over and over again), lyrics AND guitar, for about a month now. I have been quite pleased with how it was turning out...

*Bangs head on desk 1 more time*

So I was riding home tonight with my father after working 3 sessions of bingos for the Knights of Columbus, and the night was shaping up to be quite good seeing as how we actually earned some money. All of a sudden, what do I here over the radio?

*Sobs*

That's right... The chorus of the song that I have been writing for a month...

*Bangs head on desk a couple more times*

The chorus of the song that I heard over the radio was lyrically/vocally the exact same as the chorus of the song I had been writing with the exception of 1 word...

I swear I didn't know that this song existed and now I have to completely abandon the one thing that had any chance of breaking this writer's block that has been in my way for entirely too long...

*Bangs head on writer's block*

See? It's not working. Don't worry, this in not completely the end of my attepts at writing. I will try again later, but for now...

*Continues banging head on desk*
